Hopefully the $200 million in former government donations to Palestine can go to fix pipes in the USA.

International Affairs Op-ed USA Politics

The mayor of Evansville, Indiana, the third largest city in the state, says that the city government has $729 million it has to spend over the next 2 and a half decades to replace the water and sewer utilities in the city (https://howeypolitics.com/Content/HPI-News/-HPI-News/Article/HPI-Interview-Mayor-Winnecke-touts-Evansville-s-progress/39/123/17959). Meanwhile, millions of dollars in donations are going to places where I think many people only tolerate the USA because they get free money without giving much back to the USA. Trump helped to pull $200 million dollars in government donations that were going to Palestine (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-45303989) while the USA had a $607 billion deficit in the first 9 months of the fiscal year (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-07-12/u-s-budget-deficit-jumps-in-first-nine-months-of-fiscal-year). Hopefully that money that would otherwise be donated to Palestine from the USA government can go to pay off the USA’s debt, or go to fund infrastructure repairs in the USA.
